@The pathways of chemical reactions have been often speculated by circumstantial
evidences, so far. Nowadays, however, the reaction steps are becoming elucidated
accurately by observing chemical intermediates directly. Thus, we aim to
accumulate precise informations about the intermediates and to design a
novel reaction by which we can obtain a given molecule that will show desired
chemical and/or physical behavior. On the other hand, we expect novel "chemistry"
in the intermediates since they are unstable and have curious structures
that normal molecules would not have. Until now, we have clarified a variety
of reactions and the intermediates with our homemade instruments, LFP with
UV/VIS and IR detection and a cryospectroscopy system.
