“Shirokane Campus” is known for the Kitasato Institute, which has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere producing a good environment for academic activities.

The Kitasato Institute was established by Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, who made various achievements together with great honors in the predawn period of modern medicine. This institute is located on the “Shirokane Campus,” which currently has facilities including the corporate headquarter and the School of Pharmacy as the birthplace of the university, and many related facilities such as the Kitasato Institute Hospital, the Institute of Practical Training of the School of Pharmacy are also located here. This campus with venerable temples, embassies, and parks in its vicinity makes a quiet and peaceful atmosphere producing an ideal educational environment, and supports students as an easy-to-commute “urban campus.”

Access

From Shibuya Sta.	Exit the east gate, take a Tokyo metropolitan bus of the “Ta-87” route bound for Tamachi Station, and get off at the Kitasato Institute bus stop after riding for 15 minutes.
From Hiroo Sta. (Tokyo Metro Hibiya line)	Exit the gate toward Tengen-ji Bashi (exit No. 1 or 2), and walk ten minutes.
From Yebisu Sta. (JR and Tokyo Metro Hibiya line)	Exit the east gate, and walk 15 minutes or take a Tokyo metropolitan bus of the “Ta-87” route bound for Tamachi Station. Get off at the Kitasato Institute bus stop after riding for 15 minutes.
From Tamachi Sta. (JR) or Mita Sta. (Toei Subway Asakusa line)	Exit the Mita gate, take a Tokyo metropolitan bus of the “Ta-87” route bound for Shibuya Station, and get off at the Kitasato Institute bus stop after riding for 15 minutes.
From Shirokane Takanawa Sta. (Tokyo Metro Nanboku line or Toei Subway Mita line)	Exit the gate toward Yebisu (exit No. 3), and walk ten minutes.
Haneda airport to JR Tamachi Sta. (30 min. needed)	Haneda airport (Keihin Tohoku line) -> Shinagawa Station (JR Yamanaote line) -> Tamachi Station

“Sagamihara Campus” is surrounded by a leafy expanse, in which the first-year students of all the schools including medicine, marine biosciences, nursing, science, and allied health sciences study.

“Sagamihara Campus” is surrounded by a leafy expanse of 370,000 m2, located in an area of the Sagamihara terrace overlooking the Tanzawa mountains to the east. This campus has education/research facilities including the Kitasato University Hospital and Kitasato University East Hospital both utilized for clinical practice. There also are enriched recreation facilities for students to exchange or build friendship with other schools. So this campus is an ideal environment in which well-rounded humanity and sensibility can be developed and students can be refreshed physically and mentally. Speaking relaxation, this campus is still really attractive because the Kamakura and Shonan areas are about an hour from there.

Shinjuku Sta. - Sagami-Ono Sta. (40 min. needed)	At Shinjuku Station, take an express train of the Odakyu line, get off at Sagami-Ono Station, and exit the north gate.

Sagami-Ono Sta. - Kitasato Univ. (25 min. needed)	Take a bus at the No. 1 bus stop of the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus, and get off at the Kitasato University bus stop. A bus bound for the Kitasato University Hospital or the south gate of Sagamihara Station via the Kitasato University is also available at the No. 1 bus stop.
Yokohama Sta. - Sagamihara Sta. (40 min. needed)	At JR Yokohama Station, take a rapid train of the Yokohama line, get off at Sagamihara Station, and exit the south gate.
Sagamihara Sta. - Kitasato Univ. (25 min. needed)	Take a bus bound for Sagami-Ono Station at the No. 2 bus stop of the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus, and get off at the Kitasato University bus stop.
