Academic criteria for admissions

General entrance examination [first and second terms]>We are interested in students with sufficient academic proficiencies in the basic fields for understanding advanced studies in life sciences and motivation to conduct research.

Special examination for working personnel applicants [first and second terms]>We are interested in students who majored in life sciences, have work experience of two years or longer, and are motivated to conduct research.

Special examination for students from overseas [first and second terms]>We are interested in students with sufficient academic proficiencies in the basic fields for understanding advanced studies in life sciences, a certain level of Japanese or English language skill, and motivation to conduct research.

Special entrance examination for selected studentsWe are interested in students with good academic records, a deep interest in their fields of study, and potential and motivation in their research (for example, students wishing to continue their study into the doctoral program).
