私たちは、生物の高次機能を解明するため、動物細胞の運動のメカニズムを細胞、分子レベルで研究しています。細胞の運動は動物の発生や免疫反応などの生物の基本的な高次機能に関わるとともに、精神遅滞やがん細胞の浸潤・転移などの病気にも深く関与しています。私たちは細胞生物学の研究によって生物の高次機能と病気の原因解明に貢献したいと考えています。
